| "If not us, then who? If not now, then when?" -unknown (by me)
I saw this on the back of one of the students shirts at camp a few weeks ago. For some reason it brought an emotion to me that I apparently had not felt in some time. Hope. I know one of my weaknesses is expecting weakness in others therefore deminishing the expectation of good things coming from the people of today.(this expectation not excluding myself) But, I must be reminded that people innately have a desire for greatness. Some would argue where this desire comes from and to dive into a topic of such thickness at this time of night could potentially kill me. However, even those most unhappy with life cannot help but find joy in the "good guy" winning. Justice, though changing in the eye of every beholder, is celebrated. Grace, when given, makes many evaluate. "if not us, then who?" who can I call my people? Who can I trust to do the right thing? Who will desire righteousness? "If not now, then when?" Will others feel this sense of urgency? We were not designed to be alone, and therefore my desire is for "us".
| So, I realized the other day that there are are still some that I know who don't know that I have a baby in my belly. Perhaps they are Xanga people and considering I haven't posted in like...well...9 months, it is understandable why some would still not know.
I'm Prego, but only for like another 4 weeks, Lord willing! We are still in Kentwood and we are still learning, hope we don't stop. I got my carpet cleaned today, it smells like a baby, ironic. We have 2 dogs, Darla and Mya, and one cat named Boo. We bought a house last February and it still is a work in progress. Our back yard is home to about 3,000 squirrels. They vacation in the neighbors yards, but always return home to greet us!
God is great (as always), but has been blessing my business with lia sophia and those that are a part of the company. BJ is a great husband and is looking forward to being a dad (it's a boy by the way).
I am loving life and missing people and working hard. Congratulations to all those graduating this year from the mighty walls of Great Lakes! I tip my hat to you, primarily because you did it faster than I did! Enjoy and we will talk to you soon!

| Hellooooo Xanga...
New stuff? Not really, happy to see school has started cause...I'm not there. Most likely I will make a trip to the Great Lakes sooner than later. Kentwood is great. We had a good summer getting to know the youth group. They are awesome! Starting to realize more and more about being in ministry that makes me admire those who have been in it forever. I love it, but ..., well, you know.
We are slowly, but surely putting this house together. I wonder if those that lived here before us ever drive by and feel sorry for the work that they left behind...seriously, gross.
I am still a loser cause I take pictures of myself, by myself, all the time with my mac. Perhaps when I build up the gumption, I will post them.
Well, I gots the lia sophia work to do. talk to you in like...six months.
| Camp was a good time. A lot of newbees. It was good to see the old and connect with the first timers. We had a great group. Desire for knowledge and relationships. My hat goes off to Eric, Wally, and Thad for a successful week. I will repost more later. Night. | | |
| Take 30 seconds to do this; I guarantee you will show someone else, it's too funny not to.
1. go to www.google.com 2. click on "maps" 3. click on "get directions" 4. type "New York" in the first box (the "from" box) 5. type "London" in the second box (the "to" box) (hit get directions) 6. scroll down to step #24
